The mother board is the largest printed circuit board in most computers and is held by many screws .The mother board contains various circuit cards performing various functions. Unlike a desktop mother board that usually has sevral slots for expansion cards but in laptop a small highly integrated mother board may have no expansion slots only expansion possible in this case is viaExternal port such as USB, several other functions like storage controllers,net working,sound card,and external ports are implemented on the mother board itself.
